The Sparrowhawk, Formby

Askews was commissioned to reduce the costs in heating hot water at The Sparrowhawk, Formby.

Askews installed 2 x 250 litre Ariston heat pump water heaters in conjunction with a Kingspan Thermomax 30 vacuum tube solar collector, which will assist in heating up the water in the Ariston heat pump water heater.

The system will capture warm air generated as part of the cooking process and covert this into useable domestic hot water via the air sourced heat pumps.
