TM44 inspections are governed by the Energy Performance of BuildingsDirective 2002 – a European Directive designed to reduce carbon emissions and promote energy efficiency, and firmly enshrined in UK law. (This applies to single large-scale units with an output of 12kW, and to individual units that together reach or exceed 12kW.)
